Blue Rose Code is the name of the musical project by Ross Wilson, born in
Edinburgh, Scotland. Composer, guitarist and performer, he has a broad musical
palette, combining traditional Scottish folk, pop and soul. His introspective,
melancholy songwriting serves up acoustic music with arrangements that can be
stripped back or rich, depending on the song. Since her debut album North Ten,
released in 2013, Wilson has successively recorded The Ballads of Peckham Rye
(2014), And Lo! The Bird Is on the Wing (2016), The Water of Leith (2017),
