Bob Seger
Much admired for his raunchy vocals, Bob Seger is revered as a seminal influence
by many of the great hard rock bands, especially Metallica, while songs like
'Night Moves', 'Turn the Page' and 'Old Time Rock & Roll' are genre classics.
He cut his teeth in various local bands on the vibrant Detroit scene of the
1960s getting a big local hit with 'East Side Story' while fronting the band The
Last Heard. Capitol Records signed them as a result and they changed their name
