Born on September 21, 1944, in London, England, Bobby Tench was a blues rock
vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, and arranger. While he worked in several of his
own groups, he is best known for his work with iconic blues and rock artists
including Freddie King, Van Morrison, The Jeff Beck Group, Streetwalkers, and
Humble Pie. His musical career began in 1965 as a member of The Gass, who
released three singles between 1965 and 1968 but didn’t release their album Juju
