Bobby Parker
Bobby Parker was an American blues and soul singer and guitarist born as Robert
Lee Parker on 31 August 1937 in Lafayette, Louisiana. After working with the
ensemble Otis Williams and the Charms in the 1950s he performed as the lead
guitarist for Bo Diddley and appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show. His recording
career began with the track "Suggie, Duggie, Boogie Baby" (1956) with the Paul
Williams Orchestra. He achieved professional recognition for the solo single
"Blues Get Off My Shoulder" (1958) and the track "Watch Your Step" (1961) which
