Bogusław Mec
(Boguslaw Mec)
Bogusław Mec, born in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Poland, in 1947, was a Polish singer,
composer, and visual artist. He graduated from the State Higher School of Visual
Arts in Łódź and debuted as a singer in 1969 at the Łódzka Giełda Piosenki,
winning the main prize. In 1972, Mec received the Ministry of Culture and Art
award at the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole for his performance of
the song “Jej portret”. In 1971, he released his debut studio album, To nie był
sen, followed by Bogusław Mec 2 in 1979 and Bogusław Mec 3/4 in 1981. During the
