Bolt Thrower
Bolt Thrower was a British death metal band from Coventry, England, formed in
September 1986 by bassist Gavin Ward and guitarist Barry Thomson. Their debut
album, In Battle There Is No Law!, was released in 1988 through Vinyl Solution.
After signing with Earache Records, the band released Realm of Chaos: Slaves to
Darkness (1989). Their subsequent studio albums include War Master (1991), The
IVth Crusade (1992), ...For Victory (1994), Mercenary (1998), Honour – Valour –
Pride (2001), and their final album, Those Once Loyal (2005). The band announced
