Since forming in 2005 in London, England, Bombay Bicycle Club, named after a chain of Indian restaurants, have forged a highly individual acoustic style that has been categorised as a mixture of indie, folk, punk and country. Formed by teenagers Jamie MacColl, Jack Steadman and Suran de Saram, they were originally called The Canals, but found their groove and rebranded their image after Ed Nash joined in 2006.
