Botafogo
Miguel Vilanova, also known as Don Vilanova and formerly as Botafogo, was born
on February 7, 1956, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is an Argentine blues
guitarist. He started on classical guitar at nine, switched to electric at
twelve, and debuted at seventeen with Pappo’s Blues. After stints with Engranaje
and Studebaker, he returned to Argentina, joined Durazno de Gala, and launched a
solo career in 1995 with the album Trío. Subsequent releases included
