Boxcar Satan
Boxcar Satan, a post‑industrial blues trio from San Antonio, Texas, was formed
in 1990 by guitarist‑vocalist Sanford Allen and bassist Patrick Sane, both
previously of Evil Mothers. Their first full‑length album, Days Before the
Flood, appeared in 1999 on Compulsive Records, followed by Crooked Mile March in
2002 on DogFingers Recordings. In 2003, the group released Upstanding and
Indigent, adding Cajun and gospel influences, and a 2004 DVD, No One at the
