Boyd Rice
Boyd Blake Rice (born December 16, 1956) is an American experimental noise
musician from Denver, Colorado. Rice began creating sound recordings in 1975 and
developed techniques for vinyl records including multi-axial rotation and the
use of turntables as instruments. In 1978, he formed the duo NON with Robert
Turman. Rice collaborated with experimental and dark folk artists including
Current 93, Death in June, and Frank Tovey. Working under the moniker NON, Rice
released the albums Might! (1995) and God & Beast (1997). His subsequent
