Brandon Lake
A Grammy and Dove Award winner, Brandon Lake funnels a diverse, genre-jumping
spread of influences into his Christian worship music. Born Michael Brandon Lake
in Charleston, South Carolina, on June 21, 1990, he was inspired by contemporary
Christian and gospel artists such as Chris Tomlin and Third Day. He started
writing music and serving as a worship leader during his teenage years before
working for Seacoast Church as the worship leader for the college ministry.
Brandon Lake’s debut album, Closer, was paid for by a crowdfunding campaign and
