Brixtonboogie, a German urban blues band collective from Hamburg, was founded in
2005 by Krisz Kreuzer. The group's name references Brixton, a London
neighborhood known for its music scene, and boogie, an early 20th-century piano
style similar to the blues. Kreuzer began playing guitar and harmonica at age
15, influenced by early blues masters. The band's debut album, Urban Blues, was
released in 2009, featuring songs co-written by Kreuzer. The album included a
cover of Depeche Mode’s "Policy Of Truth" and two tracks with sampled vocals
