Brody Brown
Christopher Steven "Brody" Brown, born in Compton, California, is an American
songwriter and producer. He joined 1500 or Nothin' in 2003 and signed a
publishing deal at 17. In 2008, he met Bruno Mars and co-wrote tracks for
Doo-Wops & Hooligans (2010), Unorthodox Jukebox (2012), and 24K Magic (2016). In
2015, he co-founded Shampoo Press & Curl with Mars. Brown co-wrote Grenade,
That’s What I Like, and Leave the Door Open, winning multiple Grammy Awards. His
collaborations extend to Adele, Mark Ronson, and Snoop Dogg. In 2022, Leave the
Door Open won four Grammy Awards.
