Bruno Spoerri
Bruno Spoerri is a Swiss jazz and electronic musician who was born in Zurich,
Switzerland, in 1935. He achieved early professional recognition as a
saxophonist in the 1950s and is famous for pioneering electronic music in
Switzerland and for receiving the Swiss Jazz Award for lifetime achievement
(2017). Spoerri played the saxophone with ensembles including the Francis Notz
Septett and toured with the Modern Jazz Group Freiburg in 1956. In the late
