Born on September 26, 1945 in Washington, County Durham, England, Bryan Ferry
was the driving force behind one of the most inventive bands of the 1970s, Roxy
Music. His solo career, which began in 1973 with These Foolish Things, has been
punctuated by classy albums(Boys & Girls, 1985), a few hits and a fierce
artistic independence. Bryan Ferry doesn't follow trends, he anticipates them
and embodies them. After Frantic (2001), followed by two albums of covers, the
