Building 429 is an American Christian rock ensemble from Fayetteville
established in 1999. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style
characterized by modern pop-rock and for receiving the GMA Dove Award for New
Artist of the Year in 2005. The ensemble was founded by the bassist Scotty
Beshears and the vocalist Jason Roy, with a name derived from the Biblical
