Callum Beattie
Born on 17 October 1989 in Mayfield, near Edinburgh, Scottish singer-songwriter
Callum Beattie was fed a diet of classic songwriters like Rod Stewart from a
young age and fixed his sights on music at 14 when his dad bought him a guitar.
He started writing songs and handing out demos at gigs, propelled by a strong
DIY ethic and the hi-vis jacket he wore for his job pushing trolleys at the
local supermarket. It wasn't long before he started to get noticed and released
his first single, "We Are Stars," in 2017, striking a universal chord with his
authentic songs about everyday life....
