Calvin Richardson, born December 16, 1976, is an American R&B singer-songwriter
known for his smooth vocals and deep soul influences. He began his solo career
in the late 1990s, signing with Universal Motown to release his debut album
Country Boy in 1999. Though modest in sales, it established him as a promising
voice in contemporary R&B. His follow-up, 2:35 PM (2003), released on Hollywood
Records, featured the hit “Keep On Pushin’” and a solo version of “More Than a
