Calyx
Calyx is a British drum and bass act originating in London, England. Originally
a duo consisting of guitarist Larry Cons, who previously led the jazz-funk band
Octane, and drummer Chris Rush, the project began after the members met at
Oxford Brookes University. Calyx debuted in February 1998 with the single “Cubic
/ Narcosis” on Moving Shadow's sister label Audio Couture. In 2000, after
releasing the Catapult EP, Rush departed to pursue a non-musical career, and
Cons continued Calyx as a solo project, subsequently releasing the Downpour EP
and the debut studio album No Turning Ba...
