Captain Sky
Daryl Lonnie Cameron, known as Captain Sky, was born on July 10, 1957, in
Chicago, Illinois. He started his musical journey playing guitar and performing
with various bands during high school. In the late 1970s, Cameron began a solo
career under the name Captain Sky, releasing his debut album, The Adventures of
Captain Sky, in 1978. This album featured the signature song "Super Sporm",
which was later referenced by The Sugarhill Gang in their hit "Rapper's
