Cesare Andrea Bixio
Cesare Andrea Bixio was an Italian composer. Born in Naples, Italy, on October
11, 1896, Bixio became one of the most popular Italian songwriters of the 1930s,
1940s, and 1950s. He wrote numerous hits, with Bixio Cherubini serving as the
lyricist for many of them. His notable songs included “Vivere”, “Mamma”,
“Parlami d'amore, Mariù”, and “La mia canzone al vento”, which were performed by
famous singers such as Beniamino Gigli, Tito Schipa, Carlo Buti, Giuseppe Di
