Chad Lawson
Chad Lawson – born Mach 26, 1975, in Morganton, North Carolina – is a classical,
jazz, and new age pianist. Inspired by seeing Sha Na Na on television, he began
studying the piano at the age of 5. He began composing his own material after
being given a Korg M1, his first keyboard. He majored in jazz performance at the
Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. While pursuing his major, he
began a career as a studio musician. He also started working as sideman, touring
with artists such as Babik Reinhardt. Moving to Charlotte, North Carolina, he
formed the Chad Lawson Trio...
