Chand Torsvik, born Jørund Chand Torsvik on October 12, 1982, in India, is a
Norwegian musician best known for winning the inaugural season of X Factor
Norway in 2009. Adopted by a Norwegian family at ten months old, he was raised
in Spillum, Trøndelag, and began performing his own songs in 1999. His
discography includes albums like Kongeriket Norge (2010) and Heilt Sjæf (2013)
and the single "Du e stilla æ e vind" (2016). Torsvik has also supported the MOT
youth foundation as an ambassador and competed in Stjernekamp in 2021.
