Charles Daniels

Charles Daniels, born in 1960 in Salisbury, United Kingdom, is an English tenor. He trained at King’s College, Cambridge, where he was a chorister and later a choral scholar. After completing a degree in Natural Sciences and Music, he studied under Edward Brooks at the Royal College of Music, receiving a Foundation Scholarship. Daniels’ career consisted a prolific partnership with the King’s Consort that produced more than 25 releases on the Hyperion label, including The Choice of Hercules and St Matthew Passion.
