Chatham County Line
Chatham County Line is an American Americana and bluegrass band formed in
Raleigh, North Carolina, in 1999 from members of Stillhouse. Their original
lineup included lead singer-songwriter Dave Wilson, mandolin/fiddle player John
Teer, upright bassist/pedal steel guitarist Greg Readling, and banjo picker
Chandler Holt. Their breakthrough came when producer Chris Stamey offered to
record them after seeing them open for Tift Merritt’s band The Carbines, leading
