Chef'Special
Chef'Special is an indie-pop band from Haarlem, Netherlands, known for weaving
elements of ska, rap, and funk into a diverse, cheery sound.
The group was formed in 2008 by vocalist Joshua Nolet, guitarist Guido Joseph,
bass player Jan Derks, keyboard player Wouter Heeren, and drummer Wouter Jerry
Prudon. Chef'Special's debut EP, Hungry, was released in late 2009.
Two years later, the group became the house band for the Dutch television
talkshow De Wereld Draait Door, an opportunity that coincided with the release
of Chef'Special's first full-length record, One for the Mrs. ...
