Chico Castillo is a French singer, composer, and musician born as José Agustín
Luis Castillo on 3 November 1967 in Le Blanc-Mesnil. He achieved professional
recognition for a musical career that began at age 17 after meeting the musician
Manitas de Plata. Castillo achieved professional recognition for being a
vocalist for the ensemble Gipsy Kings by André Reyes. His recording career
included the track "Alabina" (1994) which sold more than 14 million copies and
