Jean Grillet, known professionally as Chien Noir, was born in 1985 in Pau,
France. He began his musical journey at a young age, studying piano and guitar
before forming his first band. In 2019, he launched his solo project under the
name Chien Noir. His debut single "Quelle importance" was released in June 2020
after signing with Naïve Records. Chien Noir's debut album, Apollo, was released
in 2023. Notable collaborations include working with Mark Daumail of Cocoon and
co-writing songs for Vanessa Paradis and Christophe Willem.
