Chokehold
Chokehold, a Canadian vegan straight edge hardcore punk band from Hamilton,
Ontario, was formed in 1990. The group's early releases included "More Than
Ever" in 1992 and a split with Crisis of Faith the same year, followed by the EP
Life Goes On. Chokehold's debut album, Prison of Hope, was released in 1993 via
Conquer the World Records. Their subsequent albums were Content With Dying
(1995) and Left for Dead/Chokehold (1996). The band disbanded in 1996 after a
final performance at the New Bedford Fest in Massachusetts. In 2015, Chokehold
reunited and released remastered versions...
