Chris Shaffer
Chris Shaffer is an American indie rock singer-songwriter and guitarist from
Indiana. Shaffer served as the frontman for the band The Why Store, whose
repertoire includes the single “Lack of Water”. Following the group's 1993
formation, The Why Store released the albums Welcome To The Why Store (1993),
Inside The Why Store (1994), The Why Store (1996), Two Beasts (1998), and Life
On Planet Six Ball (2000). After the band disbanded in 2000, Shaffer formed the
project Shaffer Street with Heather Marie Shaffer, releasing the albums Four
