Gaetano Cristiano Vincenzo Rossi, known professionally as Christian, was born on
September 8, 1943, in Palermo, Sicily, Italy. Initially a footballer for Palermo
and Mantova FC, Rossi's career took a turn due to a heart condition, leading him
to pursue music in the early 1970s. His breakthrough came in 1980 with the
single "Daniela", which reached seventh place on the Italian hit parade. Often
