Hans Christian Bruhn, born in Wentorf bei Hamburg, Germany, on October 17, 1934,
is a German composer, arranger, and music producer. Bruhn began composing for
film in 1953 with the short film Ware unterwegs, before gaining national fame in
the 1960s with hit Schlager compositions including "Midi-Midinette" in 1960, the
1962 Eurovision Song Contest entry "Zwei kleine Italiener", the 1964
million-seller "Liebeskummer lohnt sich nicht", and the 1965 worldwide hit
"Marmor, Stein und Eisen bricht". He composed Katja Ebstein's 1970 Eurovision
