Christoph Zehendner, born in 1961 in Bad Windsheim, Germany, is a
singer-songwriter and theologian. He began his career as a journalist at
Evangelical Broadcasting Corporation (ERF) in Wetzlar and Hessian Broadcasting
and studied theology at Philipps University in Marburg. Zehendner released his
first solo album, Für meine Freunde, in 1982. He is known for his work in
Christian popular music, with over 300 published song texts. Notable releases
