Multi-instrumentalist and lead singer of the French reggae group Tryo,
Christophe Mali has also launched a solo career from time to time. Born in
Antony (Hauts-de-Seine), France, on August 25, 1976, Christophe Petit (real
name) adopted the name given to him by his actor friends when he started out in
the theater. He was a member of a local troupe for several years and used his
instrumental skills for musicals, before founding the group Tryo in 1995. In
