Schlager vocal duo Cindy & Bert - formed in Völklingen, Saarland, Germany in
1965 – were best known for their hit single "Immer wieder Sonntags" (1973) and
their 1974 Eurovision Song Contest entry, “Die Sommermelodie”. Comprised of
Jutta Gusenberger (born January 26, 1948) and Norbert Berger (born September 12,
1945), the duo began performing together as Cindy & Bert in 1965, and two years
