Claes Gösta Janson, born on July 30, 1947, in Nyköping, Sweden, is a Swedish
jazz and blues singer known for his interpretations of ballads by Swedish poets.
During his school years in Sundsvall, Janson toured with the Canyon Group, which
had several hits between 1963 and 1965. After graduating and completing military
service, he co-founded the blues band Good Morning Blues in 1967. Janson's solo
career began in 1989 with the release of his debut album Frestelser. Notable
