Coma Cinema
Coma Cinema is an American indie pop band formed in 2005 by the singer and
songwriter Mathew Lee Cothran. Originally based in Spartanburg, South Carolina,
the project later relocated its operations to Asheville, North Carolina. Cothran
began writing material and released his first collection of recordings, Baby
Prayers, in January 2009. This debut caught the attention of music publications,
including Pitchfork, which featured the music video for the song “Flower Pills”
