Comet
Comet is an American rock band from Dallas, Texas. Formed in 1993, the group
made its home in the Denton underground music scene. The ensemble released its
debut single, “Portrait” / “Rocket Flare”, in 1994 which was produced by the
musician David Baker. After signing with the label Dedicated Records, the band
recorded the studio album Chandelier Musings (1997). During its career, the
group performed on tours with acts including Mercury Rev, Bedhead, Apples in
Stereo and Low and appeared at festivals such as SXSW and CMJ. In 1997, the band
