Cordel do Fogo Encantado was a Brazilian music group from Arcoverde, Pernambuco.
The band originated as a theatrical performance in 1997, featuring poetry and
theater, with members Alberone, José Paes de Lira, Clayton Barros, and Emerson
Calado. In Recife, percussionists Nego Henrique and Rafa Almeida joined the
group, transitioning their work into a musical spectacle during the Rec-Beat
Festival in 1999. Their debut album, Cordel do Fogo Encantado, was released in
2003 under the production of Naná Vasconcelos, followed by their
