Corto.Alto is the name of a Scottish jazz band that appeared in 2019. Formed by
multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Liam Shortall, it also includes
Harry Weir (saxophone), Fergus McCreadie (piano), Graham Costello (drums) and
Tom Excell (percussion), accompanied by other guest musicians. Their nu-jazz
style borrows elements from hip-hop, electronic music, dub, funk, jazz fusion
and rock. Hailing from Glasgow, Corto.Alto made a name for itself with the
