Counterparts
Counterparts, a Canadian melodic hardcore band, formed in 2007 in Hamilton,
Ontario. The original lineup included vocalist Brendan Murphy, guitarist Jesse
Doreen, bassist Eric Bazinet, and drummer Ryan Juntilla. Initially known as
Brigade, the band changed their name to Counterparts, inspired by Alexisonfire's
song "Counterparts". In 2010, they released their debut album Prophets under
Verona Records.
Throughout the years, Counterparts experienced several lineup changes. Their
third album, The Difference Between Hell and Home, was released in 2013,
followed by Tragedy Will Find...
