Cristovão da Silva Bastos Filho, also known as Cristóvão Bastos, was born on
December 3, 1946, in Brazil and is a pianist, composer, arranger, and
songwriter. He began his career in the 1970s, working as a songwriter, arranger,
and pianist. In 1992, Bastos released Bons Encontros, his first album as a
primary artist in collaboration with Marco Pereira. He was the pianist and
arranger for Dionne Warwick’s 1994 album Aquarela do Brasil. His debut solo
