Crouch End Festival Chorus
Crouch End Festival Chorus, a symphonic choir based in north London, was founded
in 1984 by John Gregson and David Temple. The choir initially performed Verdi's
Requiem with a scratch choir of amateur singers. Under David Temple's direction,
CEFC has grown to around 150 members, performing various musical styles
including traditional choral repertoire, contemporary classical, rock, pop, and
film music. Notable performances include appearances at the BBC Proms concert
series and collaborations with conductors such as Esa-Pekka Salonen, Semyon
