Da Grass Roots
Da Grassroots was a Canadian hip-hop production team from Toronto, Ontario,
composed of Mr. Attic, Mr. Murray, and Swiff. The group emerged in 1989 and
contributed to the development of Toronto's hip-hop scene throughout the 1990s.
Their breakthrough came with the release of their debut EP Drama / Living
Underwater in 1995. In 1994, they were featured in Andrew Munger's documentary
film Make Some Noise. In 1999, the group released their debut album Passage
Through Time which included the singles "Thematics" featuring Arcee and "Price
