DAM
DAM is a Palestinian hip hop group formed in 1999 in Lod. The ensemble consists
of brothers Tamer and Suhell Nafar and their friend Mahmoud Jreri. Also known as
Da Arabian MCs, they are credited as the first Palestinian rap group. They
achieved international recognition in 2001 for the single “Min Erhabi?”, which
was downloaded over one million times. Their music frequently addresses the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict and social inequality. They released their debut
