Daniel Ho
Daniel Ho is an American musician, composer, and producer specializing in
innovative approaches to slack-key guitar, ukulele, and Hawaiian music. He was
born on March 5, 1968, in Kaimuki on Oahu, and later studied composition at the
Grove School of Music in Los Angeles before returning home to attend the
University of Hawaii at Manoa. After graduating, Ho returned to Los Angeles and
became a permanent member of the smooth jazz group Kilauea. In the late 1990s,
