Daria Ryczek-Zając, known professionally as Daria ze Śląska, was born on August
21, 1990, in Katowice, Poland. Before beginning her solo career, she performed
as part of the electronic duo The Party Is Over. In 2022, she released the
singles “Falstart albo faul” and “Dziewczyna z tatuażem”, followed by her debut
album, Tu była, on April 21, 2023. The album earned her two Fryderyk Awards in
2024, for Phonographic Debut of the Year and Indie Pop Album of the Year. Her
second studio album, Na południu bez zmian, was released on May 24, 2024 and
