Darlene Zschech
Darlene Joyce Zschech, born on September 8, 1965, in Brisbane, Australia, is a
Pentecostal Christian worship leader and singer. She began her career as a child
actor on an Australian children's show at age ten. In 1987, she released her
first album Make the Choice. Zschech joined Hillsong Church in Sydney after
writing "Shout to the Lord" in 1993, which became one of the most well-known
modern worship songs. She served as the worship pastor from 1996 to 2007 and was
instrumental in producing over 20 albums under the Hillsong Music label. Her
