Hard rock band Daughtry was formed by formerAmerican Idol contestant Chris
Daughtry in 2006, following his fourth-place finish on the fifth season ofIdol.
Based in McLeansville, North Carolina, the band debuted with"It's Not Over",
which reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on Adult Pop Airplay. The
following single,"Home", also topped the Adult Pop Airplay chart. Both singles
appeared on the band's self-titled debut album, Daughtry, which reached number
