David Alberman
David Alberman, born 1959 in London, is an English violinist and music educator.
He earned a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music at sixteen and studied
privately with Igor Ozim. Alberman performed with the Academy of St Martin in
the Fields, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe,
where he served as concertmaster. From 1986 to 1994, he toured with the Arditti
Quartet, premiering over 200 contemporary works. In 1995, he formed a duo with
pianist Rolf Hind, appearing at major European festivals and on BBC broadcasts.
